Longstrike fans, we hear you!

The longstrike won the hearts of many when it was first introduced.  Even today, the longstrike is the choice of many beginners, attracted by its good looks.  However, it isn't long before they realise that the performance is everything but long striking.  Well this is about the change.  Xplorer is proud to once again bring something new into the foam blaster community.  Introducing the Xpower kit for the Longstrike.

This is a product that is just screaming to be made ever since the release of the Elite series.  Many modders out there have successful transplanted Elite internals into N-strike blasters that have not been carried over to the Elite series*.  So this kit is not rocket science really.  However, the innovation is to make a drop in kit that does the direct plunger (DP) conversion with minimal cutting of the shell and complete without the need to harvest any parts from another blaster, say for example a Retaliator.  

Another refinement of the design is to make the upgrade strong and reliable, as well as simple enough for buyers to self install with minimal effort.  Special care is put into the design to ensure that the kit is production friendly with lower part count to save cost of production, and in turn lower the selling price.

This kit will be offered in 3 versions

1. DIY edition. The mid priced kit will contain all the parts (such as the Direct plunger tube and rod) that is needed for conversion to the Xpower system.  There is no need to obtain parts from other blasters but you will need to trim your existing longstrike bolt sled and this is of course irreversible.  This will turn your blaster into a bona fide Xpower with stefan capability and the range that you see in our test videos.

2. Drop-in edition.  This is the top range kit that contains everything AND the pre-cut bolt sled (made from a brand new Xpower longstrike bolt sled) and is a simple drop in kit with absolutely nothing to cut.  You will be paying more for this kit so it's suited for buyers whose original bolt sled is already weakened or who plan to use heavier spring rates in future.

3. Complete ready-to-go edition.  This is the drop in edition, complete with a X-dart mag.  This will complet your transition from full length darts to half length stefans.

**Installation and upgrade will require intermediate to advance knowledge of the longstrike and the retaliator.  This installation is NOT recommended for beginners.  The drop in kit will require the least amount of work as no cutting and gluing will be required.
